History

The IELE offers four core English language courses (English I, English II, English III, and English IV), and a non-credit course (Foundation English).  Apart from the above courses, we provide an induction programme (Assumption University English Entry Course, Au EEC) for all incoming students.

With highly qualified faculty members who come from more than twenty countries, the IELE is committed to provide qualified teaching and learning with a pronounced emphasis on classroom-based action research. Through interactive classroom activities and participation in various cultural and religious events, the IELE still aims to preserve and promote diverse art and cultures.
