On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Assumption College Rayong, the school hosted a speech contest on 27th January, 2024 at Rayong.
Judges (Dr. Tharinee Kamnoetsin, Dr. Manisha Samrat and A. Loretta Patricia Jeremiah) were invited from Assumption University's Institute for English Language Education (IELE), the Theodore Maria School of Arts to judge the prestigious competition. The award for this contest will be a trophy presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Participation was promising with 18 students coming from various schools in Rayong demonstrating their oratory skills. The competition, thoughtfully divided into four categories, awarded four outstanding students as winners.
Judges with their expertise executed a fair evaluation. They also offered the students invaluable insights equipping them for future competitions and overall public speaking proficiency.
Judges acknowledged that the competition was stiff and the students showcased remarkable preparation and competence across categories.
